It all started in a small kitchen with a simple desire: to eat better.
Hi, I’m Arman Piyush, the founder of LilGrow. Like many of you, I was looking for ways to add more fresh, nutrient-packed food to my meals, but I was often disappointed by the wilted, flavorless greens from the supermarket that seemed to spoil in days. I wanted something more—something alive, vibrant, and bursting with flavor.
My “aha!” moment came when I discovered microgreens. I was amazed that these tiny, powerful seedlings could contain up to 40 times the vitamins and nutrients of their mature counterparts. I started growing them for myself on my windowsill. There was something incredibly satisfying about planting a tiny seed and harvesting a forest of green just a week or two later.
What began as a personal hobby quickly blossomed into a passion. I shared my harvests with friends and family, and their reactions were unanimous: “This is the best salad I’ve ever had!” and “Where can I get more?” I realized I wasn’t the only one craving this level of freshness and quality.
And so, LilGrow was born—a promise to bring the incredible flavor and nutritional power of freshly harvested microgreens directly to our local community.
Our Discovery
The answer, we discovered, is a resounding yes. But it doesn’t happen by accident. It happens through a dedicated process of discovery that defines everything we do.
The Seed of an Idea: More Than Just a Garnish
Like many, we first saw microgreens as a fancy restaurant garnish—a colorful sprinkle on a plate. But our curiosity led us to dig deeper. We were astounded by the scientific research showing that these tiny leaves can contain 4 to 40 times the nutrients of their mature counterparts.
This wasn’t just a garnish; this was a nutritional powerhouse in its most concentrated, bioavailable form.
But we discovered a problem. The microgreens available to most people were often:
Wilting in clamshell packages after long travel times.

We knew there had to be a better way. And so, our own discovery began.
